County offices began moving into the new Courthouse on July 5, 1980 after approximately one year of construction. Immediately following the December 7, 1978 fire which totally destroyed the 1918 model, meetings were held throughout Grant County to discuss funding for a new building. On Thursday, August 21, 1980 the new Grant County Courthouse opened.
Today there are approximately 25 employees working at the Grant County Courthouse.
