The Grant County State's Attorney's Office handles felony, misdemeanor, and traffic cases. Juvenile court matters and mental health hearings are handled as well. The State's Attorney is the legal adviser for all county officials and acts as the chief prosecuting officer for the county.

If you feel that you are the victim of a crime, report it to law enforcement for investigation. The State's Attorney's Office does not conduct criminal investigations. Criminal activity should be reported to the Sheriff's Department at (701) 622-3331. After the investigation is completed, the State's Attorney will review the matter and determine if criminal charges are warranted.
